Welcome to AstroExoticReef! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of astroexoticreef.com (the “Site”), our services, and any purchases of live corals, frags, or related products. By accessing or using the Site, placing an order, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Our Business & Products

AstroExoticReef is a small South Florida reef farm based in the Miami area (Hialeah, FL). We propagate and sell only what we grow in our 180-gallon mixed reef + dual IM 25g lagoons — healthy, vibrant, WYSIWYG exotic corals. “We Only Sell What We Grow.” All products are living animals and subject to the specific guarantees and policies outlined on our Shipping & Guarantees and Returns & Refunds pages.

2. Orders & Payments

  • All prices are in USD and subject to change without notice.
  • We accept payments through Shopify and approved processors. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the full order amount plus applicable taxes and shipping.
  • Orders are confirmed only after payment processing and verification. We reserve the right to cancel or hold any order for any reason, including suspected fraud or inventory issues.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate shipping and billing information. Incorrect addresses may result in additional fees or order cancellation.

3. Shipping & Guarantees

All live coral orders are governed exclusively by our Shipping & Guarantees policy (incorporated here by reference). Key highlights:

  • Shipping Tuesday–Thursday via priority overnight.
  • Free shipping on orders over $299 (continental US).
  • Live Arrival Guarantee and 7-Day Health Guarantee with strict conditions (unboxing video, proper acclimation, in-range tank parameters, etc.).
  • Store credit for most health claims; full refund only for approved DOA.

4. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are allowed only under the conditions set forth in our Returns & Refunds policy and Shipping & Guarantees policy. Because these are live animals, we do not accept returns for change of mind, color, size, or any reason outside the stated guarantees. All policies are incorporated here by reference.

5. User Accounts & Conduct

  • You may create an account to track orders and manage preferences.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to harass others, or to upload harmful content.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for violations of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, coral photos, care guides, and branding — is the property of AstroExoticReef or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

  • Corals are living organisms. Their long-term success depends on your reef conditions, husbandry, and care. We provide care advice in good faith but cannot guarantee outcomes in your specific tank.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, AstroExoticReef is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific coral(s) in question.
  • We do not guarantee continuous or error-free operation of the Site.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on the Site and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
