At AstroExoticReef, every coral is grown in our own 180-gallon mixed reef + dual IM 25g Lagoons system right here in the Miami area. We only sell what we grow — fresh, healthy, and ready for your reef. We stand behind our corals with clear, fair guarantees and reliable nationwide overnight shipping.

Our Guarantees

  • Live Arrival Guarantee We guarantee your corals arrive alive. If anything arrives Dead on Arrival (DOA), notify us within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos (coral still in the shipping bag and out of the bag, under normal lighting). We will replace the coral or issue full store credit for the value of the coral (shipping fees not refunded).

  • 14-Day Healthy Guarantee After proper acclimation, if a coral shows severe stress or does not survive in your established reef within 14 days of delivery, we offer a one-time replacement or store credit (equal to the coral’s purchase price, minus shipping).

    Claims must be submitted before day 15 with:

    • Clear photos showing the coral’s condition
    • Your current tank parameters (temperature, salinity, alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, nitrates/phosphates if available)
    • A brief description of your acclimation process and tank setup

Important – What’s NOT Covered:

  • Issues caused by improper acclimation, lighting, flow, water chemistry imbalances, pests, aggressive tank mates, or tank instability.
  • Corals that slowly lose color, shrink, or retract polyps but remain alive.
  • Any claim submitted after 14 days from delivery.
  • Shipping costs or return shipping fees.
  • Corals that were healthy on arrival but later affected by conditions in the buyer’s tank.

We include a detailed acclimation guide with every order and are always happy to provide personal care advice — just reach out. Our goal is to help your new frags thrive the same way they do in our Miami reef.

Shipping Details – Nationwide Overnight Shipping

  • Fast Overnight Shipping from Florida — All live coral orders ship via FedEx or UPS Overnight (next-business-day delivery) to addresses nationwide in the continental United States. We ship Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend delays and give your corals the best chance of success.
  • Packaging — Every frag is double-bagged with oxygen, sealed securely, and packed with heat or cold packs as needed inside high-quality insulated boxes for temperature stability during transit.
  • Free Shipping Threshold — Free overnight shipping on orders over $299 (continental US only). Orders below this threshold include a flat or calculated shipping rate shown at checkout.
  • Order Cutoff — Orders placed by 2 PM EDT Monday–Tuesday typically ship the next business day. Wednesday orders may ship same day depending on volume.

Notes:

  • Delivery times are generally by end of day (some remote areas may arrive later). We are not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, holidays, or other factors outside our control.
  • We currently focus on the continental US. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or US territories may be available by special arrangement — contact us for details.
  • We avoid shipping before major holidays or during extreme weather to protect your corals.

How to File a Claim

  1. Contact us immediately via email (astroexoticreef@gmail.com) or through your customer account.
  2. Include your order number, photos, tank parameters, and details.
  3. We review all claims within 24–48 hours and aim to make it right quickly.
